Tennis

On the 5th of November 2016, the St Stithians Boys’ College junior team, consisting of Tinashe Taruberekera, Moeteledi Monnakgotla, Thabo Ncube, Theron Snyman and Josh Cronje, participated in the annual Junior Inter-High Tennis tournament. The team defeated Trinity College, St Peters College, Edenvale High and Hyde Park convincingly in their group section. In the semi-finals the junior team defeated a very motivated Helpmekaar team. In the finals we were up against a highly rated St Johns team, but the junior boys displayed sheer determination, defeating St Johns and taking the trophy. We are very proud of our junior players, not only for their spirit on the court, but also their good sportsmanship.

Our First team also played against St David’s on Friday afternoon and won convincingly 9-0, retaining their unbeaten record for 2016.
